Kaylie loves playing in our Maple tree. The boys love to climb it too and are great climbers, but Kaylie has such balance because of gymnastics! She will even leave the trunk of the tree and walk out on branches like Nim from Nim's Island. Kaylie gave me a big smile when I told her that; she enjoys watching that movie, and Kaylie is very much like Nim when it comes to adventure. I just had to take some pictures of her in the tree. She is making a pully/robe system to bring her favorite stuffed animal, Sea Ottery, up into the tree with her. She doesn't like to go anywhere without Sea Ottery!

TIME to BRAG!

I am so proud of my kids! Kaylie graduated from Kindergarten...can you believe it!(See her personality shining in the picture). Already finished her first year of school! She loved doing her graduation program with songs and reciting all the memory verses from the whole year! I bet she knows more verses than you:) Her greatest achievement from this year is learning to read! It's amazing to watch a child learn to read and the pride they take in achieving this new skill!
Kyle and Kellan came home with certificates on the last day of school. Kyle made honor roll again and it is amazing to think that next year will be his last year in elementary school! He is such a wonderful boy with lots of friends and a good sense of right and wrong. I am amazed that even though he is one of the smallest in his class and among friends, he is the leader many times. The other kids really respect him because of his good judgement, kind heart, and intelligence!
Kellan received an achievement award for extra effort (they don't do honor roll for 2nd graders), a Perfect Attendance for the 2nd semester, and a 2nd place medal for a Language Arts Writing Contest! It was fun seeing all the papers Kellan brought home this year. Although even in May he was still forgetting to write in his agenda and bring home study guides and write his name on his paper, Kellan would ace most everything he did. We are talking 100% on most of his work!
They are doing outstanding in school, and Daddy and Mommy are so proud of them!
